Weekly Volunteer Opportunities

Client Assistant

Are you looking for a meaningful, regular commitment? Are you available during office hours (see left)? Serving as a Client Assistant could be for you! Client Assistants talk with our clients about their particular situations, gather and enter information into our database, and call other organizations on their behalf. They also answer phone calls from those seeking help. We look for volunteers to commit one weekday morning (9:00-12:00 in Trenton) or afternoon (1:30 -4:00 in Princeton) for at least 6 months. Training is provided.

Store Volunteer

Store Volunteers help check clients into our Trenton Food Store (open 8:30 am - noon weekdays and one Saturday per month), help organize the store when food is delivered, and help clients pick out food according to our point system. Store Volunteers normally volunteer one morning per week.

Administrative Volunteer

We are grateful to the office volunteers who help us process client records and mailings, assist in event planning, and more. If you would like to put your office skills to work, we offer flexible hours and provide training in data entry and other administrative tasks in our Trenton office.

For more information on volunteering at Crisis Ministry contact Volunteer Coordinator Elizabeth Ferguson at (609) 396-9355 ext. 24, or by e-mail.
