Crisis Ministry's volunteers are at the core of the caring and effective service found in our pantries and food delivery, in our financial assistance office, in our offices. In a given week, between 30 and 50 volunteers help CM to operate smoothly and effectively. They help us to provide quality service with minimal staffing costs. Volunteers come from congregations, civic groups, schools, colleges (like these seminarians from Princeton Theological Seminary), and businesses. Many volunteers have previously received help from us and want to give back.
Contact Volunteer Coordinator Alicia Morrison, who also serves as a homelessness prevention social worker. She will match you with the niche and the training that will best tap your strengths and availability and serve our organization’s needs.
Contact her via email or at 609-396-9355, x12.
At right, Alicia accepts donated funds from three West Windsor students who formed the Just Think group, led by Alexis Etheridge, to help people in need. They collected hundreds of personal care products and $800 for us to purchase personal care items. We awarded them our Cream of the Crop certificates for their effective volunteering!
