e-newsletter
Not everyone can commit to a regular schedule of volunteering. Here are some ways you can help occasionally, either individually or as part of a group.
For more information about our many volunteer opportunities contact Volunteer Coordinator Alicia Morrison by email or at 609-396-9355, x12.
JOIN OUR ON-CALL LIST
We will contact you when special projects or events come up, or when we are short on regular Store Volunteers. When your schedule permits, we'd love to have your help.
CORPORATE VOLUNTEERING
Is your business looking for in-service/work days or group team building opportunities? Bristol-Myers Squibb (a BMS employee team is shown above) and Church & Dwight are two well known businesses that have held on-site volunteer activities. Novo Nordisk has held an employee food drive for the Crisis Ministry at its own site. Come in and help us with our food store stocking during the first week of the month. If you work for a business that promotes service work days or team-building, please contact CM Volunteer Coordinator Alicia Morrison.
HOME FOOD DELIVERY
Once a month we deliver food to many home bound residents in the Princeton and Trenton area. We need your help packing and delivering food. This is an excellent family or youth activity for groups of 6 to 10.
HELP WITH OCCASIONAL MAILINGS
We welcome help processing some of our occasional mailings, such as invitations. The work is pleasant and low key, and can involve stuffing, labeling, sorting -- and lots of conversation.
